The only one I have successfully flash modded so far is the benq drive .



I'm supposed to mod my brothers 360 over the holidays . I believe he has a samsung . so I'll let you know once I perfected that . It's kinda hard to practice on all the different drives when I don't have them to try out , plus there are different ways to do each one . I'll keep you posted on my progress .

HOW TO PLAY A UMD MOVIE ISO

Copy the movie ISO into The Video subfolder of the ISO folder on your PSP memory card . If there is not one just create it in caps .
Once you get it copied Press SELECT to bring up the "VSH MENU".
Go down to "ISO VIDEO MOUNT NONE", press left or right on the D-pad. You should see you video's name where it says "NONE", then go down to "EXIT" and press X.
YOU MUST HAVE A UMD IN THE DRIVE , IT CAN BE ANYTHING GAME OR MOVIE...

That should do it.

TURBOGRAFX 16 EMULATOR ISSUES

Some way or another moving my files back and forth my TURBOGRAFX 16 EMULATOR THAT I SALE ON A DVD-R became corrupt . It will boot up but when you go to load a game(rom) it will turn off the psp . If you save the roms , just set them in a different folder and delete the turbografx16 emulator from your psp and reinstall it using this program Easy Emulator installer , put your roms folder back in place it should work fine . Again I apologize for the trouble . The easy emulator installer is good for installing most of the emulators available for your psp and based on the custom firmware you have . It just does not include the game roms .

As you might have already seen, there are some mobos (TA-088 ones, slim models) in where the IPL used for Despertar del Cementerio, Pandora and Time Machine therefore, doesn't work.

IPL can be still run from the Memory Stick, but just those that are signed by Sony, and not the ones that contain a different signature; a problem that will probably block the actual way of running your cfw's, as you couldn't even load on this NANDs the custom IPLs with different signature.

Even though, IPL is not the problem, but probably the mixed kernel of 1.50&&3.40, and it will be the best option to use a new kernel on Despertar del Cementerio future versions.

So, to sum up, new Dc version will not be released till the new Core and interface is finished.

What is a .RAR file ???

Here lately I've had a few confused people loading .rar files into there ISO folder of there memory card and wondering why the games don't work . A .rar file is like a .zip file it's compressed to save space and download time . If the file is kinda big you may see two or three parts to it . you always open the first one most of the time it has a .01 lable . any way getting to deep into this here is the link the the program i use to open .rar files .

Coverflow 3.0

Mp3 player that looks like the Iphones coverflow . I just downloaded it and am still tinkering with it myself . Put the coverflow file in your game folder on the memory card ,put the mp3 in the music file that should already be on your memory card . The album art goes to the cover subfolder of the coverflow3.0 folder .
The MP3 and the .PNG have to have the same name (eg. song.mp3-song.png) and the PNG has to be either 32x32 or 64x64.

NEW Custom Firmware out 3.95 GEN-2

This was released by another developer PSPGEN . Dark Alex , the creater of 3.80m33-5 and 3.90m33-3 which most of you have , is not planning on releasing new custom firmware until the release of 4.00 . 3.95 gen was released on june 1st and on the 6th they already have and update . I'm trying it out to see how it is but I don't really see a need to update and I personally might be going back to 3.90m33-3 .
